armour of God
Time for me to reveal the answer.. 7 pieces of armour that each of us should possess.1. Belt of truth: Why do you need a belt? so that your pants can "hang" on it, and they won't drop.
Qn: Are we in-line with God's word so that everything can "hang" on it?
2. Breastplate of righteousness: A breastplate protects your heart. Are there any sins/ changes that need to be made to live righteously?
3. Feet fitted with readiness: Are you ready to share the gospel as GOd leads? Do you have what it takes to share the gospel?
4. Shield of faith: The darts that come our way are the lies, the accusations, the temptations that Satan deviously throws at us. Now, the qn is, Do you live by faith in God every moment?
5. Helmet of salvation: Do you know for sure that you have FULL salvation in Jesus Christ?
6. Sword of the spirit: This is our only offensive weapons. Quoting scripture to fight. This was what Jesus did when he stood his ground with Satan. Do you know His word well enough to quote scripture against sin and temptation?
7. Prayer: (Eph 6v18) How we receive our commands, and alertness. Are you praying about everything and giving God the issues in our prayer?
will you put on your amour everyday before you fight the evils of this world? or are you fine with going out without your armour.. leaving plenty of surface area for Satan to throw fiery darts at?
For me, it isn't easy, cause i've never thought about it. Be encouraged.. let's all stand and press on=)
